Or they work at or are in touch with those who work at the MKM?
You think the players go around the MKM telling the marketing department they don’t like the play style? Come on…you can see with your own eyes they’re sticking to the philosophy even at 2-0 down.

I am not claiming to be ITK because I'm not. However, there are some on here who do have a certain level of knowledge from within the club.

Just for comparison with Wally, here's how our other fairly recent and equally disastrous managerial appointments worked out:

Slutsky 20 games, 19 points - 20th place

Averladze 10 games, 11 points - 20th place

Wally 15 games, 15 points - 19th place

Slutsky was in charge for 39 games and Arveladze for 46 games.

Slutsky was appointed in the June and sacked in the December of 2017 - don't see where you get 39 games from.

In both cases I was quoting the games from the start of the season when they were sacked. Averladze had a few games at the end of the season when Acun came in and got rid of McCann, but I don't think he had 36 games that season.

even more so given that those games include Derby, Portsmouth and Oxford. Rather than the expectation of improving as the weeks go by, we're going backwards (or better described as downwards).
And that run is largely before the excuse of losing Millar, Belloumi, and Zambrano, not that Walter is using it as an excuse so far, but some will say that no doubt in due course.

Aye, I cocked that up, Slutsky was 21 games.

Football players are professional. They can dislike the instructions from the manager but they'll still carry them out. Pointing to the fact they didn't veer far from Walter's instructions is evidence of nothing.

I was beginning to wonder if he'd lost the dressing room, simply because none of the players seem to praise him in interviews.

However, I agree they seemed to be playing for him (or perhaps each other?) on Sunday even after going 2 down.

I still think he needs to go though.
