Geez, Bruce..OpTIMistic!!!!! ..I nearly had it down to 3 points, then envisaged a last minute winner v. Swansea. When a shot from the edge of the box hits one of theirs on the backside and goes into the net. Though if Swansea play as well as they did at ours last season, they could easily take all three. TBH.. I think other teams will see us as beatable and know our defence is suspect, our midfield can be overran, and our attack doesn't have much potency. Agree mostly with that Rev. Only item I'd question is the divided fanbase. The booing is a natural response, but not systematic of a divided fan base. We all want the club and Wally to succeed. Booing is the result of the frustration that nothing is going right for us, and our luck is out.
I still think the point that west brom played thursday night and then sunday noon is a huge advantage for us They were clearly gassed And even then we just crab football and a bunch of crosses over and over We didnt trouble them in the 2nd half Unles you count having possession more
Think it was against France- and no, it's not him. The one mentioned is ex Plymouth and then he went somewhere else (I think) - maybe Stoke?
The season we were relegated to league one We had 22 points at this same stage after 15 Last season birmingham had 19 points after 15 Both higher than us now So anyone who thinks us going down is not realistic needs a rethink
“We’re conceding unlucky goals and it’s a coincidence the way the opposite side are scoring” he’s utterly deluded.
This is worth a thought. 3 managers now since Acun came in. Consistently take longer than 80 minutes to make 2nd substitution... Hmmmmm
Really? The one thing I’ve noticed with Walter is he’s normally quite quick with making changes. I can understand why he didn’t yesterday till late as we weren’t playing awful
I think there's a pretty evident language barrier between what he's attempting to say and what he's actually saying? He looks to be under a huge amount of pressure, things aren't working out and he's just lost our 2 most capable match winners. We tried yesterday but we're short on fire power and general nous up front ,if it isn't addressed it will churn out disappointment after disappointment. I don't know his earnings but I assume he's paid a reasonable amount of money to produce results,he's clearly not achieving that. There has been an element of bad luck, non more so than yesterday's first goal and our recent rattling of the woodwork, but you make your own luck in this game... Yesterday was an opportunity to run the sting out of a Team who played on Thursday night and Walter should've rammed that point home in his final rally cry before we ran out onto the pitch.Instead of that they come out and put the game all but out of reach in the first 17 minutes. He's now left in the unenviable position of trying to talk his way out of growing anger from fans and the press and sadly he's not very good at it.He has no support from within the Club,Kesler has left under mysterious circumstance and our owner has adopted a silent approach which has done absolutely nothing to calm the faithful. He's either uninterested or he's engineering in the background to replace our current coach...Surely things should be made clearer before we travel to Luton and a must win game.?
I was listening to Deeneys podcast the other day part 1 and apart from being a complete pillock, he mentioned the season they got promoted at Watford. They bad 4 managers that year I think, and walked the league, they asked him how the did it with such difference in managers etc. He said we had a spine of experience ie, and it didn’t matter what manager they had, they loosely listened to them and just played the way they wanted on the pitch and the situation of the game. We lack that kind of player or players.
Now that's what I call a watertight contract. Where did you get that copy from? ...we can offer you an unconditional three year deal. We'll honour it without penalty (we like to reward failure) whether or not you deliver exciting, winning football. Don't worry if the team gets relegated, who cares?
I can't understand at all. They had hardly any time to recover from Thursday so get fresh legs on and run at them
There is that but he must’ve felt the 11 out there were close to breaking through. I can kind of understand not wanting to rock the boat too much
Yes, several times now. It's a group of usually 4 sports 'journalists' and pundits on a podcast. Normally chaired by Baz Cooper, with Fletch and Burnsie as regulars, along with David Pruton or occasionally other guests. They give their views on what's happening at City.
