the obsession with Rosie is ridiculous - nice bloke, credit to the club but refused to change the turgid style of play, refused to play Pandur, blew a top six place and ultimately paid the price - that doesn't mean Walter is an improvement partly because he wasn't dealt the same hand Rosie had so you can't expect the team to out perform the one from last season - but, there is something very wrong with our performances because some players don't seem to give a **** - has he lost the dressing room - who knows but something needs changing very quickly

I cited two clear examples of players moving to clubs over joining us where the common denominator was a stable off-field set up where managers hadn't been sacked/moved on despite missing out on the play offs. I cited the player sales we made off the back of Rosenior's targeted signings (Delap and Carvalho also going for big fees after Rosenior being personally involved in bringing them to the club) I don't know how much more tangible evidence I can provide. Can you provide any evidence to the contrary?

conveniently forgetting Twine who left because of Rosie playing him out of position and conveniently forgetting the players who complained to Acun about the style of play - lets not pretend Rosie ran a happy ship

Not forgetting twine but then again those who go on about our 100m of attacking talent seem to forget him too.

Twine was an acun signing, carvalho was Rosenior. Which performed better?

Twine left because he wasn't very good and we weren't going to play him and despite rumours of some players being unhappy with the way we played, there was absolutely no sign of it on the pitch.

Twine left because Burnley recalled him because they weren't happy with how he was being played - he then went to Bristol and scored on his debut for them

With the need to replace half the squad in the summer, you'd at least want the stability of a known quantity with regard to playing style and the remaining players already knowing what their roles are. We've compounded the transfer issues by employing a new maverick management team, with no experience in English football, trying to play a way nobody seems to understand. The issues we now have, are entirely self-inflicted and not remotely surprising.
Maybe Lambo but that still doesn’t mean things would have been better under Rosie, it’s just an opinion. We could be sat here now saying acun should have sacked Rosie in the summer….who knows.

seems walters not doing one

(personally, i think its a) pride to not sack his choice and b) we cant afford the pay off <laugh>

Acun Ilicali makes big Tim Walter decision as Hull City boss under growing pressure

https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podca...decision-as-hull/id1310519331?i=1000675902883
Hull City manager Tim Walter remains under heavy pressure and on today's podcast, we have a fresh update on his future at the MKM Stadium following Tuesday's 1-0 defeat at Oxford United. Baz is joined by Burnsy, Fletch and George Elek from Not The Top 20 podcast to reflect on another frustrating game, and the angry fan reaction at the Kassam Stadium, and what it means going forward as City prepare to face West Brom on Sunday afternoon.

The talk of players complaining to Acun last season and the murmurings of players not happy this season worries me more than any tactical or philosophical issues of play at the moment. Although Coyle is a good captain there is still a real lack of leadership on the pitch and there has been for a good while and if there's some sort of complaining culture at the club I'd like it stamped out.

The fans are the biggest moaners of the lot, always have been. I like a moan on here but would never do it at the ground during a game. If Sunday is going to be as toxic as it sounds it's just another reason for me not to bother making the trek

If he is backing him then he’s finally making a good decision
He employed him he should stick by him
And he needs to appeal to the fans too to back the club and the team and the manager

he’s done great with fan engagement etc
Now lets get behind them
We can be a typical hull city fan base and be they’re **** I’m not going not supporting

Or

support the owner the manager and the team and roar us to a win

Not too sure what you're trying to gain by quoting prices by adding 10m onto the last post you did, but each to their own (agenda).

Would we have made the top 6 if Rosenior had played Pandur over Allsop? Looking at the way Pandur is playing, probably. but we will never know as it didn't happen, like a lot of comparison posts on here nothing can be compared as they didn't happen. Personally I was looking st this season as a transformation season, due to the massive overhaul but I am getting a bit disillusioned with Walter, but saying that if he was to keep us in the division and we bought (not loaned) nearly a new team, in the summer then next season would be the time to see where we're really at.
