We aren’t talking about goals though, you were talking about situations where teams SHOULDVE scored but didn’t. If anything Coyle’s goal was a product of the system he played forward into the wide areas and then drove into the vacated space. The finish is somewhat of one but the way he got to it is down to how the system works
I know, it was an example.. Belloumi's shot on the weekend, Mehlem's header, these are players throwing the ball on their boot (Coyle for Mehlem) and hoping for the best, not us working the ball through the thirds and putting opposition under sustained pressure.
If you seriously think we're going to see numerous situations like Coyle v Plymouth then.. I dunno what to say.
