It's only been 12 games if you've got an axe to grind.
More or less the same isn't the same is it. Those that played together last season (the defence) are clearly struggling to be more adventurous. Greaves is gone as well who was outstanding. Those that came in, most of them haven't had 100 minutes yet, with 4 still registering zero. If I could be bothered I'd look at all mins played by new signings and give you an average but it won't make a blind bit of difference as your mind is made up already and there won't be any hearing it.
What baloney? “Axe to grind” hahahaha
Did we not play 6 friendlies & a League Cup game?
If we “pretend” these games did happen. What was the point of them? Maybe to project a playing style? Improve fitness? Assess players? Create a team ethic?
The team has been the same throughout, whether you like it or not.
Pandur, Mac, Jones, Giles, Omur, 11/12 games. Slater 10/12 games. Mehlem 8/8. Simons 8/12.
Pandur, Coyle, Jones, Mac, Giles, Mehlem, Omur have started every League game.
Slater & Millar have started 4 & played in all 5.
Despite these “axe to grind” factafuckingmondoes we have not only won **** all in terms of games, we haven’t even won a half. We haven’t taken the lead. We haven’t improved performance wise. We haven’t looked like winning. We haven’t looked like a team that has, in the main, played 12 games together.
We have scored 1 goal from open play, by a defender. We also scored a penalty but sold the scorer to bring in somebody I’d liken to a donkey, only a donkey can jump higher, has better balance & could kick the ball better.
There is no evidence of his attacking style of play because he doesn’t have one.
I saw it pre-season, it’s more than evident now that the man is winging it. I’m sure the players can see it too.
He was happy after Friday’s flaccid effort against , for some, our most disliked team.
**** him off & bring in a proper coach.
