I think Pedro is a bit like Cousin or Folan. In a good season they might nab ten goals. Pedro when he has the ball does look a level above - there was a pass in the Luton game that was insanely good, but the service just isn't there for him.

He got good service twice against Luton and flubbed both of them. Same with Bedia, he had one big chance and ****ed it.

If we created more chances, they might be allowed to be profligate in front of goal but we’re not Man City and our striker isn’t Haaland. **** finishing and poor decision-making in the final third has been the theme this season. Walter hasn’t worked out but I’ll be surprised if our strikers and midfielders suddenly have a lightbulb moment and decide to actually make decent passes and hit the target once he goes.

Walter wont be sacked anytime soon

So whether its worked out or not

Lets just win some games

Bar the service for the 2 sitters he missed? And the service for the others we missed, service isn't really an issue it's the final little bit of clinical, calm and composed finishing that we just seem to lack multiple time a game, game after game.....

That was last game and yes he should have buried those, but our build up play is just "launch it into the box" and across the season the service to the strikers has been poor, hence why we've got joint topscorers with two goals each. It isn't just the previous game or even the last two games, it's all season so far.

I agree there's a lack of composure, but we just don't get enough players in the box to be a threat consistently. If we don't, we rely on the one guy to win the ball, escape any defenders and score.

I'd like to see us go two up top; I think that's the reason we look more threatening in the closing stages of games.

Thats the main issue

At pro level you simply cant consistently score from crosses, and almost all our attacking play is from crosses

We will score now and again

But unless we have prime messi and ronaldo, we need to create more clear cut chances for our 'lesser' players to score

Over a season, you cant expect your strikers at this level to consistenly score from 1 or 2 chances a game

Has been fairly reliable in the past with info. Wonder what it is.

I’ve always been wary of him. The Allams were arseholes but at the very least, they were transparent about being arseholes.

Acun, on the other hand, will run the club into the ground in a way that will make the Allams look like saints in comparison in my opinion.

We can talk about acun wanting his money back

But there also has to be a point where you cut your losses and run right?

If we could actually 'launch it into the box' it would help considerably.Half a dozen efforts on Saturday were more of a 'Launch it into the crowd',shame really because the concept was good and we had players arriving.

It's basic football to be honest, you'd get your arse kicked at Amateur level for not achieving it...

In order for Acun to 'cut his losses' he'd need to entice a buyer?

We're in the relegation zone with a sorry looking bunch of reasonably well paid professional footballers,a deluded German coach and no stadium ownership...I'm racking my brains, help me out here:emoticon-0148-yes:

Summed up nicely.

Yeah Puerta couldn't seem to get the ball more than a foot off the floor when he tried to cross, poor lad didn't have the best game. For a team that are so reliant on crosses we sure are **** at them. And then occasionally, somebody players a beauty in and we fluff it anyway.

I’ve heard it on fairly decent record he isn’t being sacked atm because he doesn’t want to pay him out in full as he’s on decent whack.

Even those of us who defended and backed Walter have admitted he’s not the right man for the job and it’s a failed experiment.

When are the people who blamed the manager the moment he stepped into the building going to finally admit that a fair chunk of our players are also just ****ing crap and shoulder at least half the blame?

Not me, he’s a poor leader, poor manager, poor communicator & poor coach. He has managed to make decent players, from last season, look poor this season. His inability to react to the situation, he has created, along with the tin pot, excuses he trots out & pointing the finger at others is also why he is ****.

We’ll only find out how good the players are when Lasso is replaced by a manager who has the attributes to progress their careers, replenish their confidence & introduce a system that wasn’t created on Championship Manager.
