if the front 3 just stand still all night there is no progressive pass. The whole team has become static and therefore easy to play against.

The penny needs to drop with Klopp - this midfield does not work. It’s too negative.

We got what we deserved. Another woeful away performance in the CL.

Not sure it's as simple as that. That midfield took us a bloody long way last season, so clearly it does work - or has worked in the past. Our forward three have all been shadows of themselves this season, despite the stats for goals/assists. There's little movement up top, little running off the shoulder so not much to be able to pass towards. Forwards not playing as well, midfield shirking responsibilities (more disciplined/tactical from Klopp?) but it's not working on any level, definitely in Europe.

I agree it must be down to Klopp for whatever reason; slight changes in positions, mindset/approach to games or whatever.
