psg and won their league with their eyes.closed but they want to win the cl. therefore our game is their game.of season thus far.

They'll both play. PSG were just resting them imo, they win the league whether those two play or not.
possible permutations.
a) We win, napoli win. Group is over bar playing off for first place.
b) We draw, Napoli win. Napoli on 9 points, LFC 7, PSG 6. PSG would rely on a draw in our final game or napoli win to scrape through by beating red star. (if napoli win they have better away goals v PSG so cannot be caught by them in this scenario)
c) We lose, napoli win. In this scenario Its all or nothing for us in final game, need a 2 goal victory to take 2nd of napoli. PSG on 8 points with redstar to come = 11 points. Napoli on 9 and out best point haul is 9. the possibility does still exist that if we get a 4-3 loss at PSG and red star draw v PSG then we could maybe win last game by 1 goal and squeek through in 2nd off psg.
Its pretty clear that we have not end of group scenario coming this week. Our fantasy result is to win this game. That qualifies us and we just play off v napoli for first. In the unlikely event napoli don't beat red star we could be top of pile going in to last game.
If we draw then we have to beat napoli to be sure to be sure. IF we draw last 2 psg might draw to red star either. (but i'll bet theres hefty bribes in play to stop that)
The minimum we need is 4 points IMO.
