I blame klopp for playing them. But they’re naturally not progressive enough. None are good enough to start for us if we want to push on.
if the front 3 just stand still all night there is no progressive pass. The whole team has become static and therefore easy to play against.

In the CL last season we played fearless football home and away, always on the front foot. We have lost this in this season's competition.

Not sure it's as simple as that. That midfield took us a bloody long way last season, so clearly it does work - or has worked in the past. Our forward three have all been shadows of themselves this season, despite the stats for goals/assists. There's little movement up top, little running off the shoulder so not much to be able to pass towards. Forwards not playing as well, midfield shirking responsibilities (more disciplined/tactical from Klopp?) but it's not working on any level, definitely in Europe. I agree it must be down to Klopp for whatever reason; slight changes in positions, mindset/approach to games or whatever.
