There's video of Trump enthusiastically responding in a friendly interview when asked if he would release secret JFK files, then squirming and not answering when asked if he'd do the same for Epstein files.
America has a history of banning books for very bizarre reasons, though they're generally not national bans, but individual bans implemented by states, school boards, or even just an individual school or library. Over the years, they've banned everything from Shakespear to Harry Potter.
The most ironic being this year's ban of 'Ban This Book' by Alan Gratz. It's the story of a school child who decides to create his own library, containing only banned books, the authorities decided it was subversive and encouraged children to rebel against authority.

It's extremely complicated but after living nigh on 30 years in eastern Europe what I have learnt is that there are pockets of people all over the place on the wrong side of a border. In many cases they don't accept the government of where they are, sometimes the government of their nationality gives them benefits and aid which makes the locals resent them. It's really not as simple as they make out on the news and there are there other potential hot spots all over the place. Like Taiwan.

Given Clinton being more heavily involved with Epstein I doubt the Democrats would have been in a rush to release details either. Wonder if cigars were involved.
I don't think many Democrats would be that bothered, they didn't seem that bothered when he cheated on his wife.
Maybe best ask the people who live there. However, transnistria has been an autominous region within Moldova for more than 30 years those who favour Russia and remember the good times (yes there were some) are getting older and older. Many of the youngsters who by and large are more western thinking got Romanian citizenship which gave them a ticket out of Moldova and into the EU. Thats the situation so what happens next? Let Moldova into the EU? Well the exodus from there wouldnt be good for the EU or Moldova, keep giving more and more aid (bribes) and let time do it's thing.

It's somewhat ironic given there are people that like to call him racist and misogynistic, that apparently a big part of his victory is due to the increased vote from blacks, hispanics, migrants and women.
Definitely going to be interesting, I wonder if all the celebs that threatened to leave the country if he won are currently packing up their belongings and putting their multi million pound mansions on the rental market.
