There's video of Trump enthusiastically responding in a friendly interview when asked if he would release secret JFK files, then squirming and not answering when asked if he'd do the same for Epstein files.

 

According to the BBC website, there are four charges still to be heard against Trump. (Enough info there for you to do your own googling, and not fill a page of this thread listing them all)

Tagline? As president, in theory, he could pardon himself. Or just have them kicked out. Or put another way. The only time he is going to serve is four years in the White House.

 

Hopefully the biggest winners will be the people living in a current war zone.
It's extremely complicated but after living nigh on 30 years in eastern Europe what I have learnt is that there are pockets of people all over the place on the wrong side of a border. In many cases they don't accept the government of where they are, sometimes the government of their nationality gives them benefits and aid which makes the locals resent them. It's really not as simple as they make out on the news and there are there other potential hot spots all over the place. Like Taiwan.

If they do release anything to do with Epstein, it'll be heavily redacted for obvious reasons. He's not going to implicate himself.

 

I know it's not technically the Balkans, but what do you think will happen with Moldova/Transnistria vis a vie Putin? Presumably if he is given the bits of Ukraine he wants, that'll be his next target?

 

Given Clinton being more heavily involved with Epstein I doubt the Democrats would have been in a rush to release details either. Wonder if cigars were involved.

 

I don't think many Democrats would be that bothered, they didn't seem that bothered when he cheated on his wife.

 

Maybe best ask the people who live there. However, transnistria has been an autominous region within Moldova for more than 30 years those who favour Russia and remember the good times (yes there were some) are getting older and older. Many of the youngsters who by and large are more western thinking got Romanian citizenship which gave them a ticket out of Moldova and into the EU. Thats the situation so what happens next? Let Moldova into the EU? Well the exodus from there wouldnt be good for the EU or Moldova, keep giving more and more aid (bribes) and let time do it's thing.

the "politcal elite" have been doing a **** job the world over for decades and lining their own pockets at the same time. looks like i'm a populist.

It's somewhat ironic given there are people that like to call him racist and misogynistic, that apparently a big part of his victory is due to the increased vote from blacks, hispanics, migrants and women.

 

Definitely going to be interesting, I wonder if all the celebs that threatened to leave the country if he won are currently packing up their belongings and putting their multi million pound mansions on the rental market.
