US Election

It's ok I understand, just looking at your posts it's clear. This isn't about justice, it's about division of left v right. As I've said numerous times, Pelosi also has her own agenda, she hates Trump, but loved Bush, that's why it was ok for him to bomb the shhite out of another country, based on lies.

 

One dominating factor in all this Nancy Pelosi....

So how's it about the division of left v right? Both Presidents that you think should be impeached were on the right.

Because all he ever does is chat about MAGA maniacs. I could talk about the BLM nut jobs that ran riot, but that's not relevant either. My point was all about Pelosi, but because she hates Trump, it's ok not to look at her past intentions. As I've pointed out, it's not about justice, it's about she hates Trump, but loved Bush.

 

Which is the only reason that I think there's any chance of this sticking.
With Trump talking about starting The Patriot Party, it gives Republicans a good reason to block him.

Correct Bobby. It's a shame she never applied the same justice with her George, but 'it was off the table.' The reporter called her out over a year ago, and he was right to do so. This isn't about right from wrong, this is about Pelosi's version of justice. Yeah Trump deserves lynching, but I refuse to let the double standards of Nancy Pelosi hide behind that.

 

Sorry mate, it most absolutely is, and the historical examples I've given of when the US didn't pursue justice for the sake of reconciliation and coming together highlight the long-term consequences of what happens when justice is denied. As it happens, I can't stand Bush nor Blair, did the rallies and petitions and all that, but the fact that Bush didn't get impeached just doesn't mean a US president can do what Trump did and there not be a proper reckoning. I truly don't understand this dog-in-a-manger approach of whataboutery either to justify your stance.

 

It's actually the Constitution's version of justice. This is like saying Mike Dean shouldn't have given that nailed-on pen against us on Thursday (wish he hadn't like) because the **** has got it wrong so many times before.

 

Bush Jnr merely wanted to ‘put right’ his Daddies stated ‘biggest regret’ which was stopping outside of Baghdad in GW1, that and errrmm oil.

He lied about the genuine threat they posed, and ploughed on, with Blair holding his hand like a ****ing numb nut.

Pelosi hates Trump, but Mcconnell isn’t far behind her, shame it took him 4 years to be honest like, but still.

 

My whayaboutery is about the double standards of Pelosi, but you only see what you want to see. There is a reason there is division in America, and that's because of the whataboutery and double standards applied at the root of their democracy. Those double standards create division, because justice is not seen to be done, when it should be done. Bush and Blair got away with the biggest crime in our lifetime. Yet in that very same lifetime, Trump is lynched for turning the American people on one another, well what about America turning parts of the world on one another. But yeah Trump, let's get him the right wing nut job, that's more important, than any lies over WMD. Pelosi double standards.

It goes back further than that. Nixon should never have been pardoned and Reagan should've been locked up Iran-Contra.
If you let things go, then you're just creating an environment where corruption and criminality will thrive.

 

Listen, I know I'd said I'd leave it before, but this time I genuinely will (got a tiny bit of work to do - those very few trains we're running atm are getting ever harder to lose, and somebody has to do it), but can I just ask one final time for now, just to clarify : are you against Trump facing justice for conspiring to fiddle election results, organise a military coup and incite an insurrection because Nancy Pelosi is a hypocrite? If it had to be a genuine American saint like say Tom Hanks or Barney The Dinosaur who kick-started the process, would that be okay then?

 

Well I went right back to 19th century, post Civil War Reconstruction, so **** you with your going back further malarkey.

I think the answer is quite straight forward... it's risk management... a successful impeachment stops Trump standing for public office ever again ... he represents the 'clear and present danger' to the American constitution, at this time; other former presidents do not.
