When I used to run a sales team and when the need came to replace or expand I would place an advert in the local press laying out criteria, recieve all necessary replies and arrange an interview list based on submitted CV's and self explained information letter, the applicants turned up for 1st interviews, then progressed to 2nd interviews with senior management and me for a final selection, the successful candidates were chosen when company set standards, experience, educational levels, skills, personality qualities matched requirements, We refused, white, black, male, female, muslim, christian, jew and non believers, my company was Japanese, my bosses were Japanese.
We employed candidates that suited our company criteria, all humanity were invited via the advertising, does it make me or my former employers racist because we employed people based on our companies needs and standards, the candidates abilities, race never came in to it.
Does it make me racist because I would never bow to my Japanese superiors in the UK or on my frequent visits to Japan or sister companies around the world, my respect and loyalty to them was total, they didn't take umbridge and I wouldn't get on my knee or bow to anyone, not even the Queen, does that make me racist, my last 4 periods of employment covering 29 years I worked for 2 Japanese, 1 German and 1 French international companies, all lives matter, all human beings matter, we are all equal, that's just my own experience and opinion.
