Let's get this thread back on track. Really!! https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/s...ntes-following-Emiliano-Salas-death-2019.html https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/1837...on-nantes-emiliano-sala-death-premier-league/
Wow, that is a twist. You wonder if they actually believe they can win that argument or if its just to put the wind up Nantes to get them to back down. I don't think they would win. It seems analogous to consequential loss. Its always hard to seek financial recourse for 'what might have been'.
Absolutely Nin. If true it paints us in a very poor light. However, this appears to have come from a book. Who is the author, where did the information come from or is it just something made up to sell the book? No details given on this. The Daily Fail say City deny the claim. As for The Sun? Well it is The Sun.
Funny how the article in the Mail reads like we have already put a claim in, yet the headline states we DENY we've put such a claim in.... Typical gutter journalism tricks... You'll probably find a grain of truth and lost status/revenue could have formed a part of our counter claims but I'd be surprised if we were actually trying to claim that much from it rather than just referring to what could have been as some kind of context.
https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport...kCopy&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=sharebar The club respond.... Surprised the Mail haven't tried to claim Dalman has attempted to woo CAS by fluttering his eyelashes and sitting in a provocative manner!!
Just listened to this. Part 1 of 3. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p...N~p0cryqy8~P_TransferTheEmilianoSalaStoryEp1]
Thanks for posting the link I'll have to get myself into a strong state of mind to listen. It still haunts.
Cue Vetch! For me, the whole situation is beyond my level of understanding. All I hope is that whatever is destined to happen, happens soon.
To be fair, our position in understandable, as is Nantes too. Not wanting to trivialise the tragedy by comparison, but if you had bought a rare Ferrari for £15 million, and the delivery driver totals it because the truck he was using to transport it wasn't road worthy, taxed, insured AND the driver wasn't licenced to drive it, you'd definitely be looking at them for reimbursement. The person or business you bought it off would still want paying too, even if there had been a minor discrepancy with the paperwork. The scumbag agent who is ultimately responsible along with his dodgy mate who ran the air company.
