So these projects allowed the people of Cornwall to live did they? Perhaps all of those German tourists should spend a few more pounds when they visit.
Cornwall is just an example of several other 'assisted areas' of the UK. I am not saying that they can live from EU money alone. The fact is that developments over the last 30 years in the UK. have concentrated money and power towards London and the home counties, at the expense of more or less everywhere else in the country. The EU is about strengthening of the regions and the redistribution of wealth - even though it doesn't always work in practice. This is not even a theory in the UK. at least not under the Tories. You can point one finger after another at Germany yet the fact remains - Germany did not ask for one penny of European money when trying to lift the infrastructure of the former GDR, they did it all themselves.

You are obviously content with your life being dominated by the German government most in the UK voted to end the control the Germans currently enjoy through the EU and the ECB.

So the charade continues, but the end game is getting closer. May as usual is digging her heels in despite trying to make out that she is in listening mode. Nothing could be further from the truth. She will go to the commons next week and say that despite her wholehearted efforts, the opposition parties refused to cooperate, neatly trying to put the blame on them for going against the wishes of the people. What we do know is that rescinding article 50 will soon happen as the powerful business leaders have been assured of that, and the Bill being brought forward next week does just that.

You can hardly blame May for the hapless Corbyn's refusal to meet unless his pre conditions are met. This cretin has met regularly with anti semites and numerous terrorists.

Along with that utter bellend Vincent Cable, who will only enter discussions if May agrees to another referdendum.
Hopefully people will have watched the documentary on Venezula last night and saw the Comrade bigging up the man that wasted the $13 Trillion income from the state owned oil company and left his country in utter tatters - another State Socialist paradise that the Comrade aspires to.

What does Venezuala have to do with the future of the EU and the UK, or Brexit ? Or is it just your attempt to stir up another battle ?

To most people it is obvious that Corbyn putting conditions on a potential meeting is rather silly and counter productive. No wonder you always back the losers.

The deal that you fail to acknowledge is totally dead is still being promoted by the PM. Surely after the size of the defeat this week she should be coming up with something completely different, not just tinkering round the edges of it. All of the MPs who have spoken with her are saying the same thing, she is still not listening. Why waste time with someone who is not prepared to move?

May is doing her utmost to respect the referendum result. It is not in her brief to satisfy the demands of whinging remoaners who are trying to sabotage Brexit.

It is no longer in her hands SH. Would you try to keep going with the same plan that has just been rejected by such historic numbers? I would also remind you that it required more than those who want to remain to produce those figures. There is no way forward for this deeply flawed ideology. Both you and the PM should finally accept that, and either come up with a new radical plan or abandon it once and for good, or go back to the voters.

It demonstrates that no one can trust The Comrade. Anyone who believes Chavez was a brilliant leader and a saviour of the Venezulan people is a deluded fool and should not be trusted.
There is a World of difference between admiring somebody and actually advocating exactly the same system for your own country. You are presuming that Chavez was the epitome of a bad leader, and in order to counteract this I would have to start a whole text about Venezuala, which does not belong here - and so I refrain from doing it. I have heard so much criticism of the big bad Jeremy - about how he has met with this terrorist or the other. Do you imagine that it is possible to be in a peace keeping role, without meeting up with bad people ? UN officials do this the whole time - it is part and parcel of the job. As if I could be a broker for nuclear disarmament without meeting Kim Jung. Balance this against TM if you like - she has become wealthy through being married to somebody who made his millions out of manufacture of weapons. She is also quite happy to sell weapons to countries like Saudi Arabia, and consequently pose with their leaders. Yet Corbyn wants nothing other than peace in Northern Ireland and Palestine and is the scum of the earth as a result.

Completely wrong. The default position remains we leave with no deal unless one can be agreed. The PM can decide, along with her cabinet, that any deal forthcoming does not meet the demands of the people as expressed in the 2016 referendum. Her plan, including the backstop, should be abandoned and a deal closely based on Canada ++ should prevail.

No, Corbyn is the scum of the earth for his support for terrorists and semites.

You clearly have not looked at the amendment that has cross party support, and everyone believes will pass. This takes power away from the PM. She knows this, and is now seeking to delay it being heard. Ministers are now saying they will resign rather be dictated to.

I was obviously explaining the situation as it is. So far no amendment can stop a no deal exit. Ministers will resign either way, no big deal.
