Erm. He's more than earned it. He's done more for Hull (the actual place) than you or anyone else has on the internet.

He's handed out some money, big deal, plenty of people do a hell of a lot more for good causes and don't go on about it.

To say he's 'earned' it is complete bollocks and an insult to everyone that has dedicated years of their life working towards their doctorates.

I don't follow or understand how Twitter or Facebook operate; is this significant?

Can we please stop the Dr Allam thing? I have never ever once heard anyone refer to Dr Collina and he got his doctorate in exactly the same way as Allam. It gives the man an honour he hasnt earned nor deserves and makes his ****ty argument on this seem more credible because of a fancy title.

Isn't it irony?

It annoys me the way that he constantly refers to the fact that he's "doing it for the fans".

Has he not seen Social Media, demonstrations etc?

AND, this is gold:

"We have not changed the name, we have just shortened the name"

Dear oh dear... Having an orgasm at the thought of knocking a few hundred off a twitter feed. No wonder the campaign failed.

The campaign hasn't failed. The FA have issued a statement saying that we remain Hull City. I wonder how they felt about answering calls all day about us being Hull City Tigers. I'm sure their press office have collected all the stories, interviews etc. It may help Assem Allam's application after Christmas, or it may not. Watch and learn.

But the FA can only delay it, not stop it.....

Why do you keep saying the FA the FA are powerless now.
