He has said "don't tell me how to do my job". He doesn't want ideas, he wants to change the name.
 
The official twatter account still has over 60k followers. This little stand looks to me to be counter productive, the very small number that unfollowed is extra ammo for Allams cannon to state how much of a minority the vocal opposition is.

Food for thought. Bullet in the foot?

One thought: local papers often CAMPAIGN or launch campaigns against or for a particular issue. It helps sells papers. Could CTWD persuade the HDM sports editor, or even the editor, to back a campaign to preserve the Hull City name? It would of course risk a fallout with the Allams.

And the HDM could offer to drop the word 'Daily' (as it's redundant - the paper doesn't publish on a Sunday; and it's 'common').
