Mandela wasn't the British Monarch for decades, just another foreigner in essence. He was basically a politician who wanted the country to go along a route he chose himself.
The Queen was in an entirety different situation. She was born into a position from which there was virtually no escape.

But for him to think that, open his twitter account, type it out, press return, edit it to make it sound better, then press return again?
