Well if true, I don't know who has less brain cells, us or United. I think it's bollocks though as they'd have accepted the offer of Mata plus money for an older unhappy player on **** loads of cash? Although UIR seems to think it should be £20m and Mata because Rooney is apparently worth £50m. As for Luiz, I'd rather keep him but I wouldn't be too annoyed at selling him if we got a better defender, trouble is who do you get without overspending?

By hook or crook, I think Shrek will end up at Chelsea. His Utd career seems finished and to be honest, I would think that Fergie is spitting feathers at Moyes the Bartender's actions over the last few days. Rooney is a quality player (when he can be bothered) and Moyes has just basically given him a massive demotivating statement. There's only going to be one outcome from this, and that's Rooney heading for the exit.
