Definitely a shortage of available top strikers now. If Lewandowski is leaving why do Dortmund want to keep him another year? We could loan him for the year at least.

I think Hernandez could be a great signing for us, to poach all the goals from the chances our creators make.

Then they'd lose the benefit of him for that year! Still think it's worth a bid. 25 million and they'd probably accept it and then we try to see if we can turn the player's head. Not going to happen though clearly. Even Dzeko looks unlikely now given City's relative shortage of forwards post Balatelli and Tevez. Can see us getting a keeper in and maybe sticking with what we have.

You are quite right, given the money you paid for Lukaku. Mark Schwarzer singing is very interesting. Sound piece of business for both club and player. He is a very capable backup for Cech.
