Klopp will sell Sturridge all over TalkSport tonight and in a few papiers today. Frustrated with his injuries.

Can see it. Can also see Benteke being shown the door and the combined fees for those two being put towards players he fancies. Neither are the sort of player Klopp needs.

Can't see Sturridge lasting under Klopp anyway. If robust players like Lovren and Coutinho are picking up niggles how the hell is Sturridge supposed to play to Klopp's requirements when the guy can't break into a fast walk without hurting himself.

We're in a total gamble of a situation here of course. Sell Sturridge and he sorts himself out at another club we look like idiots. Keep him and the problems continue we still look like idiots. Then the positive perspective on the flip side ... keep him and he sorts it out at Anfield or sell him and he flops elsewhere. So hard to call or tell what will happen. You actually can't. V difficult decision all in all.

I can see a number of reasons;

Could be said that its boring. Bayern win the title AGAIN with games to spare. Where's the competition?
More Money
Lack of game time, tough to get into a team like Bayern with more senior players ahead of you. Its the same reason a number of Barca youths left.

All that said we've got zero chance of getting him and it just looks like talk to get a new contract.

I make that 4 players recalled this January? Maybe Klopp is waiting til Summer to spend afterall. I know we've got injuries, but it seems odd recalling so many kids for a few games

Apparently he's Been having a very decent season up there too.

Any story that has a guy who is not box office I give more credence to.... however the fee is way too high so this is another that's prob coming from a seller rather than any inside track.

Talented player but far too expensive.

I'm sure he was offered around in the summer for half that amount.

Exactly. People seems to forget that bayern have a virtual monopoly in germany and can hoover up a lot of talent. That talent then either rots or gets shifted on in germany.

Other examples of this are real madrid, barca and chelsea too.. they all send lads off on loans and in Germany in spain they take it further by pushing the birds out of the nest with buy back clauses so their dominant positions are such that if a player turns in approaching stellar performances after leaving they simply buy them back.

There is of course the other cohort like shaqiri who want the money and make an awful mistake like inter was and end up at stoke.
