But Madrid don’t sell top class players if they’re still at the top of their game. They are the biggest fish so don’t get preyed on so if they are moving someone on it’s either because a, they’re too young and not getting in team (odegaard), b, just not good enough, or c, as is the case with these 2, they’re past their prime and on their way down with injuries etc.

United got a year out of casemiro and he was very good this year but he’s dropped off a cliff a bit like Fabinho. Maybe in the right set up could still do a good job but in an out of sorts team he’s not someone that’s stood up to be counted which is a worry for a guy you paid 70m for and meant to be the bedrock of your midfield.

casemiro can't run. it's hilarious watching people convince themselves and defend players

we have a lot of nunez defenders as well for utd fans to laugh at.

Nat Phillips stepped up when he had to and Carvalho would get more playing time here than at Leipzig who aren't giving him much time at all. He's a talented player and should be playing more if his career isn't to stall. It was felt that our style of play didn't suit his style of play but the change in our style will suit him much better.
