Personally don’t rate him. Far too erratic. Maybe harsh to compare as honestly think he’s the best keeper in the world, but Ali is so calm and composed. Never see him flustered. Only time see him angry is when defence haven’t done their job. Must gives those infront of him so much more confidence.

You do when he's made a mistake with the ball at his feet; once that happens he's prone to it happening again during that game, totally destroys his confidence.

I accept that though, he's quality in every other aspect and as saved us more than enough times to be forgiven for the odd error per season

Tobes once did a wonderful funny rant about him. <laugh>
He was convinced he wasn't properly wired the evidence being the gurning ,random shouting etc.

Think we all knew it'd be Sancho while Ten Haag stays in charge.

But 'Worldclass' Varane and last years savior Casimiro, what will Man U do without them not playing <laugh>

Also £70m for a year and a half for Casimiro, not at all short term thinking.
It's been their policy for quite a while now - buying big name players with a bit left in the tank for big money.

It’s funny cos varane seemed a great signing. Player who had pace and composure at the back, one of best Cb’s in world for period of time.

Same with casemiro. Solid DM give them stability and a base to build from and allow Bruno to do more work in final 3rd.

But Madrid don’t sell top class players if they’re still at the top of their game. They are the biggest fish so don’t get preyed on so if they are moving someone on it’s either because a, they’re too young and not getting in team (odegaard), b, just not good enough, or c, as is the case with these 2, they’re past their prime and on their way down with injuries etc.

United got a year out of casemiro and he was very good this year but he’s dropped off a cliff a bit like Fabinho. Maybe in the right set up could still do a good job but in an out of sorts team he’s not someone that’s stood up to be counted which is a worry for a guy you paid 70m for and meant to be the bedrock of your midfield.

Bruno and Maguire should be the first two out the door
