it was written in barca's last accounts they still owed 35mil (add ons ) but we had sold it to a third party who can go collect.
The terms seemingly were ever 15 games there was a fee.
Maybe why they were so gung ho over the ESL idea, it could have been the answer to their financial problems.
not sure whom but the equivalent of a factoring company which is often used by small businesses is probable .To who?

I've just gone back to read up on how much each team would have been making in a Super League. Barcelona would have got £310m just for signing up and prize money each year of between £130m - £213m. That's clearly why they were so interested (along with the other teams, obviously). It would have been a massive boost to their finances and a way out of a hole for them. Not saying that they wouldn't have also spent a lot on players but had it come to fruition, the super league would have been the answer to their financial problems.Wouldn't have though, it would have just made out a bigger problem because they'd have just spent more

I get what you're saying but I think with the insane amounts of money available in the super league, there would have to be a point at which they were able to stay within their means. Luckily it's not happening so we'll never know. All true, I was focusing more on predicting what would have happened next. They would have outspent their means again trying to compete with others receiving the same amounts, plus PSG and Man City with their endless pots of cash.
