I really don't understand the shirt sales thing. I'm unsure who makes United shirts but I assume they pay them a set amount per year or for the contract. If United sign God himself I dont think the contract changes? I understand we took a smaller payment in exchange for a percentage of each shirt so it would make sense for us maybe?
This could only be a money decision not a football one. Some financial experts have already speculated that they have already recouped the transfer fee and the wages many times over. The value of the club has jumped by £200m and the global shirt sales apparently would be worth many tens of millions. Shows this was not a footballing decision. He is nowhere near his peak and they probably will be happy to start him in the odd games. But I can’t see him making the difference in matches.
Again, the value of the club is not money I the bank, you can't pay people with the value of an asset. The shirt sales thing baffles me, theyve agreed a deal with their sponsor, if they sell 1 or a million shirts what difference to them does it make?
The woman had a rape test done immediately after but refused to say at the time who raped her. Then he hired thugs to threaten her and her family if she pressed charges. That's not the actions of an innocent man. I have no doubt he's guilty. But even if you put that aside, contrast him to Messi who is the person he is usually compared to. Messi is so humble and down to earth. Ronaldo is constantly bragging and trying to be flashy and always acting like a total jackass. Ronaldo is the total model of the arrogant prick.
I'm only going off what was reported for us to be honest, I take little interest in the financial side of our club snd much less in other clubs. Your shirt manufacturer paid top dollar, we took a cut in upfront payment in exchange for a %. To be honest even if you do get a % of shirt sales how many extra would you have to justify £500000 a week in wage? Don't get me wrong, I understand your jubilation resigning the lad, he harks back to a time when your team was at the peak, you must have some very fond memories of the last time he was here, but from my point of view it seams an odd signing for a team trying to shake off the past and move forward
There was also an out of court settlement for her to basically keep stum in 2010 Police didn't pursue in 2018 when it was re-opened cause they didn't have enough evidence. Innocent by lack of evidence rather than innocent by proof.
Sorry mate but all that is utter bollox. You're trying to back it up with rumour and gossip, no facts at all. As for the rest, what do you know about Messi? Everything about Ronaldo off the field shows he's as decent as they come. You really should go read up about him and his personal life. I think you'll be surprised.
I still cant believe him and carra werent sacked for shaking hands and congratulating on national tv the ground invaders Mind blowing really
It's wierd. Man U have signed some good players this summer, in positions they needed them, but you still always had the question of whether they would really progress significantly or still feel like a work in progress, great in some games and drab in others (See the first two league games for evidence). For some reason the Ronaldo transfer has a different aura and would give me as a Man U Fan greater confidence. Say what you like about him, the man is a born winner.
They didn't have any evidence that i did the Brinks-Mat robbery either, ****ing mugs Proof of crime is very important otherwise we could just blame anyone for anything, specially if there was a good chance of a big payment to stop dragging someones name through the mud. In Ronaldo's case the stupid bint spent all the money she extorted and tried again, the police said "no case to answer", strange innit?
First off. Lack of evidence is not the same as no evidence. Lack of evidence means there isn't enough to get a guilty verdict therefore they don't pursue a court case. Second, he paid her off. Something all innocent people do of course. Third, I didn't claim he was guilty, but pointed out his innocence was due to the Vegas Police not being willing to pursue a legal case. Fourth, you seem to have forgotten the rule between us. I've started noticing this, this is a reminder.
