You won't go back once you have tried itMay well give that a go.
I'm of the opinion that the mass produced cereals we are all familiar with are not goodfor us at all. High sugar, high salt in many, and high in gluten aswell. (Its worth reading a little on the effects of gluten on the digestive tract,
its scary)
I should give you the correct measures, it's all in cups which is easy to do.( Probably means it's yank aswell but don't let that put you off
)2 cups ground almonds
1 cup dess. coconut
1 cup almond flakes
1 cup of seeds (I always put in more than that)
1 cup of nuts (usually generous with this too)
Pinch of salt
The coconut flakes, milled flax etc. I've added to the recipe myself. Just remember the more dry ingredients you add, the more wet ingredients
you will need. This helps the granola to 'clump' slightly and obv. takes away the dryness.
The wet ingredients is about a cups worth (maybe a little more) of coconut oil and nut butter (I'm using cashew butter at the mo.)
Gently heat while your mixing the dry stuff, then mix together. Then into a baking dish lined with greaseproof paper. The oven only needs to be
on about 160 for 20 mins. Just give it a mix at halfway to make sure its slightly roasted throughout.
Like I say, the wet ingredients can include sweeteners like honey etc. I exclude this cos' I have problems with sugars

Lastly, I will eat this at any time of the day with a rice milk usually. Others will go for soya or almond milk etc.
