If Man Utd make a couple of big signings then the battle for 3rd and 4th will become very interesting. (assuming Man City and Cheslea occupy the top two spots)

Liverpools signings may see them even inprove on last season with them now signing Balotelli - unless Arsenal sign the couple of players they so obviously need I can only see them battling for 4th place again..........
 
You know they've run out of **** rumors to publish when they say we've offered 40 million + Giroud for Cavani. Sad part is many idiots are believing it.
 
Not sure how anyone who watches football could enjoy the idea of spending £40m on Cavani anyway

Not sure if anyone who watches European football can say that.

Cavani scored 104 goals in 138 apps for Napoli. He's strong, quick can play upfront or out wide. The guy is one of best strikers on the planet - Even Wenger said so himself.
 
Does anyone think theres a chance that Wenger will go in for Swansea's Bony for 18-20mill, is he the type of player Wenger would buy.

Yeah kind of what I expected as a answer, he needs to have a couple of really good seasons in a good league before he can expect Champion League team's to come in for him. Judging from other teams signings it looks like he will be in a Swans shirt next season. Arsenal looks very good this season, especially when Walcott recovers. Hopefully you will put a good fight for the title as I really like the way you play, lots of passing and speedy wingers.
 
I know this sounds very stupid from me but for the first time i am happy a player is injured and that player is arteta my reasoning for this is that now wenger is forced into signing a new centre mid i am hoping we get khedira and play him in a double pivot alongside Ramsey I know he is not the most defensive but with the way teams will sit back against us do we really need an out and out Dm when we can really just defend well by keeping possesion
 
There are rumours bubbling away that we're considering selling Pod and may use him in a part exchange deal.
AW values him at around £16m apparently.
I'd be sorry to see him go because he's a character I love his attitude, but is he at the level we need ?

It's not the clubs who sit back against us that we had a problem with last season. It was the clubs which don't. That's why we had such a bad defensive record against the big clubs.

Use him in exchange for who? And if well sell him are we going to add any other cover in his position?

I'd rather keep Podolski and focus on sorting out a DM and CB.
