We pay (or paid) Podolski over £100k a week, Rosicky £80k a week, Park £50k a week, Andre Santos £60k a week... proving that paying over the odds on wages to players is not all that vital to the club. Paying Remy £90k a week would just fit in with our other player wages really.

podolski and rosicky are better players that remy will ever be

I would somebody for once to provide some proof to what our payers earn/earnt.

You repeatedly come up with this, saying that the wage figures for individuals can't be correct. The fact they aren't published must mean they're lower than what everyone keeps coming up with on here. Like you have some sort of obligation to defend Arsenal wages as if you think posters continually overestimate what we pay our players.

The fact is that the total wage bill IS known. And the players and staff being paid ARE known. This is one person's interpretation of the breakdown: http://arsenaltruth.squarespace.com/arsenal-truth/2012/11/4/arsenals-1434m-wage-bill-exposed.html

Of course one or too players might be on less than this, though this would obviously mean that one or two would be on more than this to get the total back to £143m. But those individual figures (or close to them) can be found on hundreds of websites.

Of course, I expect you to reply that these are official figures and therefore aren't correct and that no-one knows how much we pay our players :D

I know I repeatedly come up with this and the reason I do is because none of us know how much our players earn and you certainly don't <ok>
You've just posted a link which is one person's interpretation, how about posting a link which is factual

There you go... Prediction fulfilled. I'm aware of what I posted.

The point is is that there ISN'T a factual link because we don't publish them. You know this and are just using it to stubbornly deny any story of us overpaying anyone. All we have are hypotheses based on snippets like this... But those snippets are based on accurate totals that ARE released. They have to add up to £143m.

But you'll continually repeat that they're not official and therefore we can't possibly be paying people that much.

That money goes to the players in our squad. But the fact we don't 'officially' know who to precisely doesn't mean these figures are far wrong. You just want them to be. Indeed which of the wage figures look wrong to you, given that they DO have to add up to the published total?

You also have an arrogant habit of putting in smug little bits like... "you certainly don't" in amongst your comments which is riling.

I am quite aware of the club's total wage bill as it is there for all to see on the club website. The problem with the list you have provided is that it only shows the wages of players, coaching staff, directors etc.If you look on Arsenal.com you will see the club has in excess of 500 permanent and 800 part time employees, the link you provided does not even take that into account. My argument about people saying about what our players earn is simply that I have no truck with people plucking a figure from the air and trying to make it out as factual.
PISKIE is quite fond of posting about Doris the tea lady on this forum, even Doris' wages are part of the total wage bill

You're basing opinions on information you can't possibly verify, and claiming that the information is accurate. It's not smugness to point out you don't know what the figures are.

You Arsenal fans are a discordant bunch aren't you.

Moaning about Arsenal over paying their players is pointless guys.
Every professional footballer in England, Spain and Italy who plays for a Champions League club is over paid.
You guys actually pay a lot less than some others.
I dread to think what Madrids wage bill looks like. But at the end of the day, if you have the turnover to allow you to do that (or a rich benefactor) and there is no danger of your club running into financial trouble, then whats the problem?

I'm not moaning about over paying or under paying,i just mentioned that none of us know how much our players earn

As long as we're no longer paying money to useless turds like Bendtner and Santos then I'm not overly bothered about our wage bill. The club is being run by financially savvy people and good god we've whinged enough that they always put money first! I trust them to see we don't go broke if nothing else.

Where have I said that information is accurate?

Saying 'you don't know what the figures are' isn't smug I agree. He didn't word it like that though.

It's at the bottom... Chance of him having read it all...?
I saw that and it just proves what a load of rubbish that link is.He's just plucked a figure from the air to fit in with his own theory. If we could be bothered any of us could take the wage bill and then divide it amongst the club's employees and then try and say what a player earnt
