Even Bendtner managed to score when you put him up front with our midfield. You gotta take the team into consideration.

Ballotelli is the more gifted footballer of the two. He has more skill. Unfortunately, as I've said, he is a complete twat and would be nothing but trouble.

We're not going to, but we should take Javier Hernandez off Man U's hands seeing as how Van Gaal doesn't appear to want him. He'd be good competition for Giroud. Very underrated.

To be underrated you have to be better than most people think you are. Most people think Hernandez is average/quite good. He is average/quite good. Not underrated. Fairly rated.

Yeah I'm just a little bit surprised you seem to think it is so clear cut. Do you think Balotelli could have been involved in that Wilshere goal with all those flicks, like Giroud was? How about the perfect back-heel for Ramsey in the cup final?

Balotelli's faster and that is about all I think you can say "clearly".

He is the 'Fox in the box' type of player that Wenger wanted back when he signed Jeffers. Hernandez scores lots of goals because he's in the right place in the box then the ball pops up to him. But I don't see him scoring too many goals by linking up play and running at defenders. I'm not sure he'd give us the right dynamic at Arsenal, could be a good impact sub when we need to go all out for a goal.

He is a little bit more than this now. In the last 18 months his holdup and linkup play has improved a lot and his one on one play against defenders is much better. He really needs a manager that will give him a consistant run of starts and allow him the full 90 mins in each game to see his full contribution.

Three of his comfort/good dog players have gone, not surprising he would want to get one back if the chance came.

Ospina now being reported as all but done by Sky sports.

I think he'll secure the first spot as soon as he's given a chance by Szczczxz.

If this turns out to be true come 31st August then AW has learnt nothing.

    OUT
    Fabianski
    Sagna
    Bendtner

    IN
    Sanchez
    Debuchy
    Ospina
    Campbell??

Basically one in, one out and a return of a loanee. If Vermaelen goes then another one-in, one-out. Focusing just on first team then Sanchez is a massive upgrade on Bendtner, Debuchy is a downgrade on Sagna. So our first team has improved slightly but squad-wise... come on AW, get real.

I suppose Diaby having 45 minutes against Boreham Wood means he doesn't need another CM anymore <wah>

Well things have changed. For starters we did our main business early for once thus giving players a chance to know their team mates and settle down.

Wenger never shouts about Arsenal's business but we've just brought in a massive signing with Sanchez and Debuchy, whether people like him or not, is considered a better player than Sagna by the French national manager. He's also younger and experienced in the EPL and I think is a very solid signing. You say it's one in and one out but seeing as Wenger avoided NB52 like the plague I see it as two in and one out. Also, considering how badly we were hit by injuries I think people are forgetting quite how large our squad is.

Forwards - Giroud, Theo, Podolski, Sanchez, Campbell, Sanogo
Midfield - Arteta, Flamini, Ramsey, Cazorla, Özil, Wilshire, Gnabry, Rosicky, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Diaby (*chortle*), Zelalem (maybe)
Defence - Debuchy, Gibbs, Monreal, Mertesacker, Koscielny, TV, Jenkinson
    Goal - Chezzers

Any number of our midfielders can rotate up front too so that's not bad by my book. Clearly where we're struggling is in defence and goal and there are heavy Ospina rumours and a number mentioning young right backs. Get both of those and add a young CB to be 4th choice and we're golden.

Providing we tell United to eff off regarding Vermaelen obviously.

Yeah going strong apparently. Not sure how long these things take but I can't imagine it's a quick process.

    Ornstein has spoken
"Arsenal no longer persuing Khedira but still in the market for a dmf, will sign a gk & probably a df depending on the Vermaelen/Jenkinson situations"
