Hmmm. So, some interesting news today according to Sami Mokbel of the BBC. Let's summarise.
- Arteta in talks with the club to extend his deal. Not done yet, but optimism that talks are going in the right direction and even though they've had initial discussions, further talks will commence in the Summer.
- Myles Lewis Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri are both not ruled out of being sold this Summer, as the club needs to sell after a heavy investment last Summer with minimal sales. As both players are academy players, their potential sales would mean pure profit on the books, which would help us comply with the PL's SCR rules. The club would only sell both of them for a combined £100m minimum.
- Other players up for sale include: Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli and Ben White.
- The club are confirmed to be interested in Atletico Madrid's Julian Alvarez, but they would only sanction a move if they can sell Kai Havertz or Victor Gyokeres.
- Arsenal also interested in Newcastle trio of Anthony Gordon, Sandro Tonali and Tino Livramento as Newcastle expected to sell at least one of these three players this Summer.
- Arsenal also interested in Celta Vigo fullback Oscar Mingueza, who is out of contract this Summer.
