Don't want Reina. While he's a good shot-stopper, he isn't a physically commanding or particularly organising goalkeeper. Liverpool have relied on Carragher to organise for many years. He wouldn't suit Arsenal at all. He's also been shaky for quite a while.
That would be a top signing. He would bring in 20+ goals for us, providing he stays fit. What is his injury record like? I heard it's a bit dodgy.
These types of players dont want to play Europa. And looking at Liverpool, im not sure we're even going to be in that..
They are too inconsistent and have too much to do to be a major threat to Arsenal in my opinion. It's a 3-way battle between Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea for me. Liverpool have too much ground to make and Everton haven't got the squad to cross the finishing line.
I have to disagree sorry mate. Adler is a top keeper, but he makes Diaby look reliable when it comes to injuries.
Oh dear, if Diaby is descibed as being more reliable injury wise then he must really be terrible. On a side note, shouldn't Diaby's contract be up soon? Anyone who gave him a contract extension recently must need their heads examined, if so!
Seeing a few newspapers link us to Victor Valdes. IMO, he is utterly average and would struggle badly in England. So, that's a massive no from me on potentially getting him.
Valdez is a typical Wenger type signing. He makes spectacular saves but is average at the basics. Technically great but not in the least bit commanding. Wanyama rumours seem to have some substance. What a great signing he would be.
According to the sun, we could be selling Poldi in the summer. 15 million to Juve is what they're saying. I know it's a load of ****e, but if the board read the papers, they'll see the figure and think "there's a tidy profit". I really hope we keep him, he's been quietly good this season, chipped in a lot of goals and assists. Wonder why Wenger never seems to start him anymore though.
Why would we sell 1 season after we buy him? This isn't FIFA or FM. HE's our top earner too. Typical media BS
I even said in my post it's a load of ****, but knowing our board, how long until it isn't a load of ****?
Podolski has been carrying a knock which is why he hasn't always started, otherwise he would play every game i recon.
Wouldn't surprise me and it shouldn't surprise anyone else. All they see is the chi ching. Little do they know is when Wenger's gone, that chi ching will be gone....
Board seem to have learned from the RvP disaster, otherwise Theo wouldn't have a shiny new contract an he'd probably be playing for Pool instead.
I wouldn't credit the board with much there, it's not like we were inundated with queries for Walcott and it's not if Liverpool is a more attractive offer than staying at Arsenal. The real test will be keeping Wilshere when Man U come knocking on the door offering something in access of £30m.
