Taking your disdain for our clubs management and Chairman aside, is it really unloading the Crown Jewels or a sensible mangemnet team cashing in while they can? As good as Reid was last season he was bad in equal measure the season before, I was open on here saying a large part of terrible run should be laid at his door, he missed sitters at really key times that would have helped us. Bryan had a great first 4 months of the season, but was very ordinary from Jan onwards, a combined £16-20million for them represents good value in my eyes.

It's the perfect situation for criticism - if the player goes it's a sign we're a selling club who can't hold onto its best players, if we hold onto them against their will then we should only want players at our club that want to be there and we should get rid.

Exactly this. If you're going to criticise at least pick fair criticisms. LJ could cure cancer and Redprintt would still moan that he's a terrible person for not turning Arnie Garita into Pele.

LJ likes big strikers, I think whatever we get for Reid will be good business as LJ won't play him in the same role as he was pre Christmas when, in his words, he had no choice.
We had one chance, with the Kodjia and Bolasie money, to do something special, to go with our 'Crown Jewels'.
That money has been squandered and now we have to sell before we buy.
NickH - you seem to have found plenty of time - what about the '20' ?
