Henderson signs for Sheff Utd, apparently they made the firmest enquirey, looks as though we were a bit complacent or have we got someone else up our sleeve? http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/06/1...eld-united-have-made-firmest-enquiry-for-sto/ LJ supposed to have gone and watched him 2 0r 3 times and liked what he saw, the press have been connecting him with us for ages, there is no smoke without fire, interesting to find out why we missed out.
I commented similar on our board. Not sure what the strategy is other than Delia is cashing in. Good money for many of them as well.
Blimey guys (Redprintt) plenty of players struggled at our club but made an impact when they moved on.......it happens!!
Bristol City have had an offer of compensation to sign Hakeeb Adelakun rejected by Scunthorpe http://www.skysports.com/football/n...ffer-for-scunthorpes-hakeeb-adelakun-rejected http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/06/19/por-bristol-city-confident-of-sealing-adelakun-deal/
Loss of parachute payments and FFP has probably dictated they need to cut their cloth big time. I doubt much will be re-invested in the team.
And I don't think they will be alone in that. There will be a number of teams needing to slash wage bills and generate cash to plug holes in revenue streams. The books have to balance some how.
Seems like our kind of signing , young , decent prospect , inexpensive, with the potential to make a decent profit if he progresses. We’ll probably give him no game time and then loan him out to a league 1 side
Let him go there - was a fine keeper once upon a time, but even by goalkeeper terms, 38 is old. We got burnt before by David James on his way down, so I don't think it's wise running the risk of repeating that.
According to reports in Sweden, Bristol City striker Gustav Engvall has been made available for transfer - but current loan club IFK Gothenburg do not want him. https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport...s/bristol-city-striker-gustav-engvall-1696703 I bet we won't get £2n for him, if true.
