Absolutely! The same way we all knew about the financial problems and late payments because Acun was upfront about it and told us all and ... oh.
It wouldn't come from the owner (or at least just from the owner). In today's world, if he'd been seriously, actively looking to fully sell the club (not just being open to additional investment) for more than a year now as is alleged, we'd all have heard about it by now. And the actual evidence continues to suggest the opposite.
So if he was sensible, he should aim for consolidation this season and then set multiple alarms for when every single payment is due. Then try to retain the bulk of this squad and target 26/27.
The club has been up for sale this year and we'd have been in deep **** if we'd been relegated, those things are definitely true. The release from the panel yesterday made for disastrous reading, we came out of it very badly. It stated, in black and white, that we'd played fast and loose, avoided paying people and even that we weren't actually capable of paying even if we'd wanted to. I'm not sure how anyone can remain unconcerned after reading that, but clearly some are unwilling to accept that there's been major issues over the past year. Personally, I'm not losing any sleep over it, the EFL financial controls this season have unexpectedly ended up improving things and I can't change anything anyway. Might as well just rock up and enjoy the football (hopefully).
Relegation for most clubs would be a financial disaster. That doesn’t mean the club has been up for sale this year. Other than an article by Baz suggesting Acun would welcome additional investment, there’s nothing you can point to other than hearsay from a couple of random employees at the club.
..and you know we were up for sale how exactly? Snooker club? Taxi driver? I'm not defending the EFL **** show. The club didn't have money but the owner did. As said, cash management and poor administration to blame. I know this because the debts were paid when the demands came in, players have continued to be paid, we keep up at FFP limits, there's been no fire sale, spending has continued on a whole range of things on and off the pitch, etc etc. That doesn't happen if there's no money. All the facts and evidence are on the side of what I'm staring. Nobody can sensibly deny it nor disprove ...as we're seeing on here.
Crushed again by your matchless debating skillz. "We're not for sale because if we were we would have heard about it." Several people chip in to say they have heard about us being for sale. "LIARS!!!!!"
Owner even admits to looking for investment and having cashflow issues,.even rejecting 2 bids but still "MADE UP LlIES !!!"
Pretty much every club is for the right price. Show me one piece of proof that the club is actively, seriously up for sale and that the owner wants out, then I'll happily leave it. I keep asking. Nobody can, other than I heard it from (insert your preference). Same as all the other stuff I've been on about.
There's plenty of evidence, just you won't accept it. Theres nothing any rational person can do to make you see otherwise, so I'll leave you to your delusions.
PLEASE just show me some then!! How many times do I need to ask? If there's "plenty" then it shouldn't be difficult to show and prove to me? I'll readily accept. Same with proving me wrong with all the other stuff. But there really isn't any, that's why nobody can. There's only evidence to the contrary. As you rightly say, Jesus wept!!
Everyone knows about it. Whether you believe it or not is up to you but it doesn’t change the fact that Acun is desperately trying to sell. A bit like genocide in Gaza, everyone knows it’s happening even if it’s not ‘officially’ recognised as a genocide.
