That's not proof.
Honestly, if he's seriously, actively been looking to sell since as far back as last summer, something would have happened by now or at the very least we'd all know about it.
Absolutely! The same way we all knew about the financial problems and late payments because Acun was upfront about it and told us all and ... oh.

It wouldn't come from the owner (or at least just from the owner). In today's world, if he'd been seriously, actively looking to fully sell the club (not just being open to additional investment) for more than a year now as is alleged, we'd all have heard about it by now. And the actual evidence continues to suggest the opposite.

Acun played fast and loose with our finances and has learnt the hard way, you can’t do that in English football.

I know a few posters who seem to have connections within the club had suggested things had improved since the EFL restrictions (less chaotic).

We seem to have a decent if yet threadbare squad and a manager capable of motivating the group (and improving players), so a season of Championship safety should be in sight.

Next summer will be most telling (if Acun is still here). With fee restrictions lifted and a prudent season of FFP, will mean we have more room to spend again, how Acun goes about this will tell us if he has truly learnt his lesson.
So if he was sensible, he should aim for consolidation this season and then set multiple alarms for when every single payment is due. Then try to retain the bulk of this squad and target 26/27.

The club has been up for sale this year and we'd have been in deep **** if we'd been relegated, those things are definitely true.

The release from the panel yesterday made for disastrous reading, we came out of it very badly. It stated, in black and white, that we'd played fast and loose, avoided paying people and even that we weren't actually capable of paying even if we'd wanted to. I'm not sure how anyone can remain unconcerned after reading that, but clearly some are unwilling to accept that there's been major issues over the past year.

Personally, I'm not losing any sleep over it, the EFL financial controls this season have unexpectedly ended up improving things and I can't change anything anyway. Might as well just rock up and enjoy the football (hopefully).

Relegation for most clubs would be a financial disaster. That doesn’t mean the club has been up for sale this year.

Other than an article by Baz suggesting Acun would welcome additional investment, there’s nothing you can point to other than hearsay from a couple of random employees at the club.

Of course we would, you're right, devastating counter argument.

..and you know we were up for sale how exactly? Snooker club? Taxi driver?
I'm not defending the EFL **** show. The club didn't have money but the owner did. As said, cash management and poor administration to blame. I know this because the debts were paid when the demands came in, players have continued to be paid, we keep up at FFP limits, there's been no fire sale, spending has continued on a whole range of things on and off the pitch, etc etc. That doesn't happen if there's no money. All the facts and evidence are on the side of what I'm staring. Nobody can sensibly deny it nor disprove ...as we're seeing on here.

I really don't care if you believe me or not.

Crushed again by your matchless debating skillz.
"We're not for sale because if we were we would have heard about it."
Several people chip in to say they have heard about us being for sale.
"LIARS!!!!!"

Owner even admits to looking for investment and having cashflow issues,.even rejecting 2 bids but still "MADE UP LlIES !!!"

Yes, he openly admitted he would consider additional investment whilst retaining control. Nobody is disputing that.
Your comment about 2 bids does nothing to prove he's looking to sell. Potential buyers & consortiums are active in English football. The fact the club hasn't been sold points towards it not being actively up for sale.
It really isn't difficult to understand. Some are so entrenched in the anti Acin rhetoric they choose not to see the reality and actual facts but prefer to go along with hearsay from a friend of a friend who overhead, rumour, speculation, conjecture.
I'm no fan boy of the owner. I'm as pissed off as anyone about the EFL situation that should never should have been allowed to happen. But I base my views on facts not on speculation and stuff that just doesn't match with reality.

I would just leave it. Everyone knows we are up for sale.

Pretty much every club is for the right price.
Show me one piece of proof that the club is actively, seriously up for sale and that the owner wants out, then I'll happily leave it.
I keep asking. Nobody can, other than I heard it from (insert your preference).
Same as all the other stuff I've been on about.

There's plenty of evidence, just you won't accept it.

Theres nothing any rational person can do to make you see otherwise, so I'll leave you to your delusions.

PLEASE just show me some then!!
How many times do I need to ask?
If there's "plenty" then it shouldn't be difficult to show and prove to me?
I'll readily accept.
Same with proving me wrong with all the other stuff.
But there really isn't any, that's why nobody can. There's only evidence to the contrary.
As you rightly say, Jesus wept!!

Everyone knows about it. Whether you believe it or not is up to you but it doesn’t change the fact that Acun is desperately trying to sell. A bit like genocide in Gaza, everyone knows it’s happening even if it’s not ‘officially’ recognised as a genocide.
