Sissoko tussle continues
The best tug-of-war story of the day has broken out over Moussa Sissoko.
Everton have agreed a £30m deal with Newcastle but it is understood Sissoko wants to go to Tottenham rather than Goodison Park.
Tottenham are still in the background but there is no way they will pay Newcastle’s asking price.
There is a game of cat and mouse as Newcastle will not sell on the cheap with another club wanting the player. Sissoko wants to go to London and fancies Tottenham.
Meanwhile, in the background, Crystal Palace are trying for James McCarthy on loan but that won’t happen unless Sissoko moves to Goodison.

When you look at some of the done deals I'm sure that many would have been met with disdain if we'd done them.
