Who are Hull's most hated rivals, if you don't mind me asking. Would I be right in surmising Grimsby Town, up to a few years ago? Scunthorpe, Lincoln?
I know, i obviously didn't make it very clear, but that was my intended point. He always says about City's fixation with Leeds is a one way thing.
But this rivalry with Boro is his own imagination.

All those are local rivals, except these days they're all so **** they're pretty irrelevant.
We seem to want Leeds to be our biggest rivals, but they tend not to give a **** about us (won stuff in the past you see) so I'd say it's Donny & Barnsley really. I mean that in terms of them being Yorkshire, and not winning the top flight in their history, before I get bollocked.
The Sheffield clubs when they're at our level.

I need to create a big incident that will cause friction between us and 'boro, but that won't get me arrested.
Poor Leeds, no-one seems to like them at all! Even their own fans seem to be cheesed off most of the time.
In recent times our biggest rivalry has probably been with the Sheffield clubs, historically it's the clubs you've mentioned, along with York and Scarborough.
