I was being facetious. I don't really believe that the poor performances are deliberate.

I am truly fecked off by the apparent lack of desire in the last few games. I think we have an inexperienced manager has a team that is inexperienced (relatively) not playing well and doesn't have the skills to pull it around. As long as things were going well we had the setup to perpetuate it but I don't think we have the nous to turnaround this poor run in time to make any difference this year.

hope I'm wrong.

and, as dissappointed as I will be if we don't make the playoffs I will not be unhappy with another season in the championship, with an evolving, and at times great to watch, young team with some real talent. If we can keep it together then the experience gained this year will serve us well next.

Yes I could see you were not serious. Aimed more at the response of others.

The Championship is okay for neutrals but it's a pretty **** league to be in. You have to watch your team try to break down 11 defenders every single home game, hardly anyone just plays football. As for 'great to watch', I'm not having a go but can you name one example of a game this season that has been enjoyable to watch? There have been a few enjoyable results, but even then we've hardly been entertaining.

No, WE have to watch that every home game because the opposition know that with our one dimensional attackers it's a very effective way of getting a point and maybe a win on the counter. If we had someone in the side who acted as a deterrent to sitting deep the opposition might think twice about it.

i think we had the classic underdog scenario tonight and your players failed to show the professionalism to rise above it. appleton has managed to put together a pretty young team full of frantic workers. some teams can handle that and thrive on making them look stupid for over committing, unfortunately for you hull were not one of them, they seemed more intent on arguing amongst them selves and lashing out then getting the ball on the deck and passing it about. thats probably the most convincing win we've had in quite some time with no real threats to worry about.

best of luck for the rest of the season, wouldn't mind seeing your lot go up as long as you beat some of the bottom 5 on your way!

WE WILL NEVER DIE!

Fully deserved win for you lot tonight, you absolutely annihilated us all game long, if I was a Pompey fan I'd be scratching my head at how you didn't manage 7 or 8!! On that showing you'll stay up fine this season, very hard working team and you didn't give us the chance to hold possession to let us play how we like, sadly we have no plan b at all. Hope you stay in the league as I fear you going out of it could well lead to you going out of something else too.

See you next season <ok>
