No chance of anything from this match. If we can’t turn over a struggling Norwich, then we aren’t going to halt a flying Coventry. We will go full on Russball, having 70% possession while not leaving our own half.
We had enough chances against Norwich which had we been luckier or more clinical we would have scored many in the first half. Second half we didn’t perform

We need to be good for this one
Let’s hope we’re all talking to each other once it’s over (geddit?)

Coventry is not famous for cheese of any sort and is 110 miles from the sea, so not good for fish either

Coventry people have at times done too much, much too young and on occasion indulged in naked equestrianism

If we lose I’m up for the next thread, so there’s a small incentive to win if we need it
What are you on? Also it’s not 110 miles from the sea

It must be pretty close to that?

I used to work with a lad from Leicester who used to tell me Leicester was closer to space than the sea.

Used to get excited by seeing Weston Shore ffs. Had to tell him that I wouldn't advise swimming in it <laugh>
There’s a seafood bar called The Sea in Chelsea, which is 109 miles from Coventry. The nearest sea to Coventry is probably Hunstanton in Norfolk, about 120 miles away.

By road, straight line 70 miles.
" Coventry is quite far from the sea, located inland, with its nearest coastline around 70-80 miles away, though popular beaches like Skegness or Formby are closer to 120+ miles by road, with the actual straight-line distance being roughly 70 miles to the nearest point of the coast (near Coton in the Elms in Derbyshire), making it a significant distance from the open ocean"
Pedanticly yours.

You want pedantry ?
Coton-in-the Elms is nowhere near the sea. Derbyshire is in fact a landlocked county. The nearest sea to Coventry is the North Sea, which is a sea, not an ocean.
