He is certainly tweaking the nose of history right now, maybe he will be the first caretaker turned permanent Saints manager to have success.
The most impressive thing to me is the fast fluidity of the football, it's all looks instinctive with not too much back and side to side possession for the sake of it.
Adarma has been a revelation (dropping deep to recieve the ball with runners beyond him) to me as well as CBs stepping forward which they weren't doing before and the WBs more advanced, this is how to play with 3 CBs.

The most refreshing thing about Tonda for me is that he is not trying to impose a certain style of play, instead setting his tactics to suit the players we have and their strengths. It’s been a joy to watch these last few games.
Definitely the first time we have had interim manager bounce followed by new manager bounce.
Waiting for another couple of games when we get 'established manager bounce'

Giving up would suggest I had faith in his appointment in the first place! Name me one other club in the Championship who would appoint a manager who had never managed a first team before, or had any sort of top flight football experience? Let alone one allegedly chasing promotion in one of the biggest leagues in Europe.
This was a ridiculous appointment from the off.
Think most people said there was no need to make him permanent when we did as could have quite easily kept him as interim for longer.
Still have some of my original concerns, mainly around how such an inexperienced manager would cope with a bad period, but still don't want to make a judgement too early.
Needs to get us out of this winless run sooner rather than later though. At some point the 6 wins become much less important than what has happened since.

Fair enough. But you know, it just feels like you want him to fail, so that you can bang on about hating SR/Spors ad infinitum.
