Need to get the right appointment in now. Let them develop a winning team regardless of play style and stop meddling with that. I agree with group efforts on transfers etc. Get someone in with tactical sense and the willingness to adapt to the championship.

Tim was truly let down by powers above him but since that 3 win streak he's done himself zero favours. I suspect he will go on to do well on the continent and we will wonder why it went wrong here.

I don't think Tim was let down at all. His crazy tactics were all over the place and something the players weren't comfortable with.
Even when the problems were clearly evident for all to see he refused to try and adapt or try a plan B.

Whoever we appoint, at least he'll have a chance to influence any January arrivals which is going to be critical.

We’re not in a position to take a gamble with someone with no experience of English football.

Surprised not to see Schumacher on that list, but Robins and Cooper would seem safe bets. Bloomfield would be an interesting one, while Van Nistelrooy would certainly add a bit of stardust.

I think the players will respond positively to whoever comes in as I feel they just don’t like the system and haven’t really warmed to Walter as a person.

Any of the above will get a better tune out of our mid-table squad.
