Because the owners ****ed him about and now they can't get another one to come in. I think one of the existing employees at the club might get the job eventually.

We have an existing employee who is savvy at media and PR?

Blimey they keep him well hidden!

Like Allam said when he came in he knows nothing about football.
You wouldn't know that we where in a Semi final half the time.
Clueless when it comes to promoting the club just happy causing consternation amongst the fans

Exactly, speaking to a mate of mine who doesnt follow football and hes oblivious to the fact we are at wembley on sunday

Ofcourse hes a bit of a dimwit but still theres no mass pr from the club for such s historic day

Surely they have organised a pop up shop outside St Stephens for Friday/Saturday with bonny Hull lasses flogging Wembley flags and stuff?

all this bollocks about someone being more DESERVING?
the fans will still make noise, so what does it matter?
it should be 1st come 1st served.
if you can't get a ticket? tough ****!
should have got there sooner!

They all have much larger nationwide fan bases from which to draw support. You can't compare those clubs with us.

As for all this negativity of the population that you mention, in my view Hull is no worse or no better then any other city or large town in the country in this respect.

Every place has it's whingers.....

So why would Norwich, Leicester, Derby, Southampton etc have sold out straight away?

As for negativity, you don't find the amount of whingers in other places we have. And certainly not the amount of people who actually want their local football club to fail. Although a lot of that in Hull is down to jealous eggchasers, many of whom support a football club from another city.

Adam Pearson would have been all over it like a rash.

Norwich have good fans a semi illustrious history and ex england manager mike bassett, theyd fill wembley in a flash

No one knows that for sure - you're only guessing.

Your obsession with RL fans borders on the paranoia.

It is interesting that they contnually talk about THAT proposal as being a way to broaden our appeal, tap into new fans and bring in more revenue when they solely rely on the goodwill of existing fans and do precisely nothing in terms of Marketing to try bring in new revenue and new fans.

I mean do nothing other than change the name of course....

It's almost as if they dont want us to sell out games so they can say they need the name change to boost a lack of interst in us. Or am I giving them too much credit there and they're just **** at it?

You've got to wonder how that mammoth amount of fans expects to get a final ticket. Mass demand and short supply, you only get around 20k tickets.

So they're not going to the semi because they think we'll get to the final and will just go there instead, but they won't get a ticket, so they just won't go at all.

Priceless.

here here - there are 10000 fewer tickets available for the final and the demand will be greater, so anyone saving themselves will probably be dissapointed and don't forget we have to get there yet, nothing is garaunteed - this is Hull City we are talking about after all. Go on get yourselves a ticket for Sunday - you know it makes sense.

And that makes a difference on whether someone should be more deserving? so what do you suggest the club does?
not sell any till the season ticket holders have all bought theirs?
and then put the remaining tickets on sale and hope the remaining ones get sold in a week?

GREAT IDEA!
I can see them all queueing round the block to get their tickets... start queueing up at 7am....

great!
<laugh>

I can't believe the Allams they don't mention or seem remotely interested in the FA Cup.

They aren't remotely interested in football. It's not about the team for them, it's about their status as owners and their authority. Having thousands of people under their thumb, they love it.

Makes you wonder how they will react if next season we mirror Norwich this season.

Allam is building up the support himself. Just heard from a mate that East Riding Council have been given ten free tickets. The staff are having a draw to see who gets them. Wonder if Hull City Council have been given a similar allocation?
