50% cancelled .... since when though? I'd be amazed if there's as many as 10,000 City fans at home games, and as many as 5,000 active memberships. There's only so much **** some people can take, and it keeps coming in lorry loads. It would be far better if next to nobody turned up, then it would be clear to the world that we are boycotting / protesting at the ownership, rather than it just looking like we have **** fickle fans. Allams, you utter ****s. Just **** off.
That looks like a policy to empty the east stand, which is very odd as that is the one shown most on the telly.
Of course. But on the other hand a few supporters with a banner would stand out in the sea of empty seats.
Boycott. It's the only answer and spend that money going to away games if you want to support the lads. Let's show them we have principles.
You'd expect so, but there's currently a poll of last seasons members on the Hull City Fans Forum, asking how many have cancelled and how many have continued their memberships and as of this morning, 68% have continued.
A reduction of 50% in memberships over the last two years (ie since we last started a PL season) sounds about right to me. 16-17k then, 8-9k now.
I suspect over two seasons the drop is bigger than that, I doubt there'll be more than 6-7,000 members this season.
There's nowt to do in Hull. Everywhere you look something is shutting down. You can still go shopping at House Of Fraser in Norwich however.
Won't be long before the physio and medical staff leave too, seeing as yesman Nigel can do those jobs if Ehab tells him too
‘it was one of the most popular shows on the network – spawning the often-mocked catchphrase "and now, from Norwich, it's the quiz of the week." Since Norwich was considered something of a backwater.’
