So, they aren't relevant to Hull having not one, but two rugby league clubs before they had a football club?

The best supported rugby club for years has been Leicester Tigers but it had no effect on Leicester City's gates.
It would have done if Leicester City had been in the old 3rd and 4th divisions.

What if they'd been there (and the division below) for 15 years?

A difference in Leicester is that if Leicester City aren't doing well their fans don't start going to rugby instead for a bit of easy, reflected glory with the local media bulling up the rugby, the two exist separately.

Like calling in the Receiver, being locked out of their own ground, facing winding up orders, losing at home to non league teams in the FA Cup, finishing in the bottom four of the 4th tier two seasons running?

Or just one season (promoted back straight away) in the third tier?

Not Leicester's fault they weren't as **** as we were.

They've obviously got a much more successful history to draw on, but their support pisses all over ours, they got better attendances in the Championship than we averaged in the Premier League and a great many of their supporters weren't even alive when we were ****.

On the positive side, we don't have a fat **** with a drum, a tinpot hunting horn PA motif and clacker-dependent fans

As we can only get 24,500 in the stadium at one time, not matter what the demand for tickets might be, a ground that holds more than that is going to get bigger attendances when the team is successful and Leicester have been more successful then Hull City over the years. Was their support 'pissing all over ours' when we could get upwards of 50,000 in Boothferry Park during the late 40's ? ( for third division north football)

We've just got : 'Good afternoon MKM South Stand' whilst the chubby ****er tries to get off the pitch as the teams want to kick off.

Our Boothferry Park record attendance is bigger than Filbert Street's record, however to put Leicester in context, they won the league 2 years ago, thats won the league, something not seen in Liverpool for 28 years, they should have massive the support.
