I've not had a problem with Livtor either, I don't know why he riles so many people up. But then again, I never had a problem with MFG, or Wishi either, quite enjoyed their comments and they annoyed other people. Tobes and UIR don't bother me.

I think in Livtor's case he has just had a minority opinion on a number of occasions and been jumped on about that. Probably took comments that were a little over the line too harsh and attacked back- and eventually a self-propelling cycle of reciprocity started between Livtor and others. If you're decent to Livtor he tends to be decent back though.

He's quite a bit out of line on this thread... but then, he's been attacked a fair bit too so it's almost understandable.

Me too! I think it's important to get contradicting voices, as long as they're respectful to Liverpool fans.

Plus, I have no real cause to be a trouble maker here... it's a good forum... there are no over zealous moderators to heckle. (they're Liverpool fans too). There is not really a problem with WUMS- so no need to launch full scale attacks on WUMs. I don't have anything or anyone to fight here! The club thread was needed on the BBC606- I don't think it really is needed on not606 as much.

I'm not interested in raising it in general just that jenners brought it up again yesterday so there are some others who were thinking about it. Not everyone has the same experience on here either. Someone like you, who loves everyone and everyone loves you back, sails along through all the garbage as if it wasn't there, others get it flung at them on a regular basis - <laugh>

In regards to an LFC fans only thread I'm not sure id agree. We have a few regular rivals who are decent like Diego, Bodanki who are always good and offer a decent outside view on things. We very rarely get a load of wums coming here anyway, even on matchday threads when losing we only have them viewing and not many post anyway.

I know it would only be one thread but it might put them off coming and posting on other threads if we deleted their comments in that LFC only one, be it a positive or negative comment.

That's usually the case. Posters talking about the ways of the board is something mods shouldn't get too involved in. We are entitled to pass opinion of course but as enforcers of imaginary rules for the board we shouldn't get too involved IMO. Especially when I'm the centre of such a outburst <laugh>

if a rival felt the need to post on a liverpool only thread wouldn't that tell you something about their motives to be on here in the first place?

i think it should be on every board personally, sometimes you just want a chat with your own fans and not an opposing fans opinion (plenty of other threads for that) as it usually only results in the thread going to **** any way.

How would you mod such a thing? Is it based on what club they support in which case, whats stopping a poster claiming to be a fan of a club they're not?

I agree its a bad idea btw

I'd say people wanting to go on a forum that only as fans of the same club should seek another site as this one isn't for that. They could use both if they wished. This is a open mixed sports forum, you should expect interaction from opposing fans!

I guess... I just don't feel that much need for it. But if it was just one thread I suppose I wouldn't be opposed to it. As long as we didn't end up with the situation we had on old606 where WUMs would create alternate accounts pretending to be Liverpool fans! <laugh>

There was one guy- forget his name but he was a "Southampton fan AND an Everton fan" - supported both teams (bet he is loving us signing so many Saints players) - he was our biggest WUM for a long time. He had an alternate "Liverpool fan" account he used to WUM our boards... he screwed up once- he meant to post as his "Liverpool" persona- but posted from his Saints/Everton account... it was quite amusing watching him back-peddle. Anyone remember his name?
