I don't think so mate it would have been hard to hide the errors in grammar/everyday speech from Canadian > English although why people keep calling him French I don't know, French isn't even in the top 10 languages spoken in Toronto.

i was only messing anyway, i don't care who he is, or was, if that is the case, have no problem with him, so every thing is fine as far as i am concerned.

plus even though my join date was 2011 i wasn't really on here at the start much, so no idea of most of the old school users you lot talk about.

I only mentioned a few names above from what I recalled were among the first members on here. I well remember you from bbc - me, mito, Milk, wishi, PMK, St John Red Legend [where's he these days] were regulars from the pub thread on bbc, any red could post there, one rule 'no rivals'. Was it you who said yesterday about an LFC fans only thread? I got told to go join rawk when I mentioned that <laugh> I think a few boards on here have a members only thread.

Just got back from work to do some admin, and funnily enough I advised someone to buy that book today. It's actually a very good book for self development. Not the Moose ****er edition, although I might give that one a go to <ok>

yeah it was me, find it funny that an issue was made out of wanting just one thread on the board where rival fans cant comment, shows there motive for being on here really if they had an issue with that.

Jah know.

I've never had an issue with Livtor, he's always been respectful to me. That's quite rare as I'm quite well known for getting peoples backs up (not so much these days, but certainly back in the day I was!!)
 
Anyway this thread is absolutely nuts - and pretty ****ing embarrasing to our board as a whole <laugh>
 
i think anfield rap, dr seven grater (very rare) redinthehead, knottytaxdodger and mrsc as well as st john are all on ja606.
 
I would certainly have an issue with a members only thread, my reason being that it would go against what I feel is the ethos of the board.

We already quite heavily mod the board and there is an extensive list of maybe, maybe not deserved posters who are banned. To alienate the others who come on here would be a mistake imo.

I think a few of us have mentioned it over the months, CCC I recall liked the idea as well. It's not as if rivals can't still read everything you post there but like you say why get upset just by the idea, I really don't know. This place is addictive which is why o go cold turkey every once in a while to prove I can do without it <laugh> I think some need a stronger, more regular fix ....

In a strange kind of way I think the converse is actually true, I think it shows the strength of this board, as the members have basically come to a collective conclusion without the need for the mods to start wielding the ban hammer and stamping on the internal dissent.

You could always ignore it <whistle>

it worked great on both bbc and ja606 bit like pub here but nobody following you in telling you to go join rawk .... <laugh> it also meant people didn't go missing for weeks at a time when things got rough on the main boards, they kept posting just in the 'haven' thread. You never took advantage of them on those other sites, but it was where Milk and mito plotted their revenge ....... <laugh>
