Out of 737 entries into this seasons FA cup, we are one of the last 4 remaining. And second favourite to win it. Is this really Hull City?

I don't see how that can be though, Sheffield United are obviously the favourites so how can we be second favourite when they'll easily roll over us in the semi, denying us the chance to win in the final. Defies logic.

I love you and all that, but you do need some new material, a new angle.

I was unfortunately born in the steel city which according to this thread means I have a **** accent and minuscule genitals.

Piggy- It's what the two sets of fans in Sheffield call each other.
Interista- i'm guessing that's an Inter Milan fan.

Heaton's a proper blade with associations to their hooligan firm.

100% Blade. Well respected too. Known face in the BBC. Friend of mine was meeting him in Sheffield before a game. It was the main pub and just the mention of Heaton's name got him through the door.
Spoke well of Hull and City on radio recently. Said he has many City supporting mates.

It really is pathetic. I was in a bar in London a few years ago and there was a lad from Hull (didnt know him) sat with a load southerners. For a full 20 mins he was lapping up **** from them about Hull being a 'hole' and was chipping in himself. The pub was in Ilford ffs. Incidentally these londeners were Man Utd fans.

    This really ****s me off.

Never hear Mancs/Scousers ashamed of their own accent and you rarely hear them slagging off their own city too.

Unfortunately, the mindset of many of ‘Hull’s own’ is to belittle what we have as they adopt opinions of others and try and fit in with the ‘Hull’s ****’ attitude of many ignorant ****s nationally.

Play your own part in the change and have pride in Hull, its accent and rich heritage.

The worst accent in the ****ing world, by the way, is RP.

All we have to do is play our best, if we do that then we'll stroll into the final. Wembley is a huge pitch, as long as the wingers and full backs stay wide and get plenty of supply from Huddlestone, it could be the beginning of a great adventure!

Suited and booted - the blades had you sussed instantly <laugh>

"One of them (with a picture of Thatcher as an avatar to boot) has this to say about Unitedites:

"******ed inbred minnows with delusions of grandeur, and their accent sounds ridiculous."

Don't want to get into all the "plastics" stuff, but I'm imagining he's one of the "new breed" of Hull fans (i.e. one who can't see anything wrong with them becoming FC Tigers or whatever)." - Alfreton14blade. Good imagination, well observed <ok>

Just like the O's with their 100% record earlier in the season?

Some people on here are being as complacent as the Blades fans. It'll a be a tough game that we should just about scrape through thanks to the occassion, meaning our players hopefully won't have an off day.

He got so much stick at New Theatre a few years back that he walked off the stage mid performance.

"......and for over thirty years he was a presenter on BBC Radio Sheffield."

    Guilty as charged.
