I'm surprised tbh. Madrid could've gone through yesterday, could easily have had 4 or 5 last night and almost did it at the end. Still, I suppose you can't win them all. I don't understand why people see this as some kind of football power-shift within Europe. We had an all-English final in 2008, it didn't seem to sway people's views on European football, I don't see why this should.
On top of that the praising of Germany's players and how great they are, well their national team has done nothing in recent years and the best players from the Dortmund and Bayern team in these 2 semi's have probably been; Lewandowski (Polish), Robben (Dutch), Ribery (French) and Martinez (Spanish). Of the Germans perhaps Reus and Gotze, even Hummels but he did make a big mistake in the first leg.
