Incase you hadn’t realised dopey bollocks we’ve played one more game than all the others as we had Man Utd to play on the 20th December whilst most of the others didn’t play that mid week.
We’ve got three possibly four first teamers out and another playing with pain relief injections. Our bench is looking threadbare of game changers.
We looked very tired last night, but hey don’t worry you’ve had that extra day to recover as well.
But in truth I’m not expecting anything tomorrow and this due to tiredness. I just don’t think they’ve got it in their tanks. If we had those four plus the others on the medical table fit we could of rotated players but we don’t have that luxury at the moment. I’m hoping Engvall might be available tomorrow as his loan officially is to January but I don’t know if it’s beginning or end of Jan.
I think we will slip a bit in January and then hopefully pick up where we left off when Diedhiou, O’Dowda (who tore your lot a new one) Pisano and Djuric are fit again, with any new additions.
I would like to see Leko and Woodrow returned to their respective clubs as they ain’t all that.
Hopefully you didn’t miss me but I’ve been to see my old man as his wife died in November. And trying to think what to say to him on this day was more important than chatting on here.
Very sorry to hear that ROD - been there myself only the other way around, wife losing husband and it ain't easy handling it - I know. There's a hell of lot more important things than being on here and that's just one of them, but I'm hardly psychic.
As for the "dopey bollocks" bit, no need to be rude. I knew about and accept Tom's point about extra game against Man U, but it's the cramped Christmas/New Year League fixtures for all clubs to which I was referring. I wouldn't like to think your great Carabao win over Man U was going to be used as an excuse for being tired on New Years day.
Eventually all football issues come out in the wash and are really unimportant except on a forum. It can't compare to personal tragedy and coping with it. I hope you and yours are managing.
