Very sorry to hear that ROD - been there myself only the other way around, wife losing husband and it ain't easy handling it - I know. There's a hell of lot more important things than being on here and that's just one of them, but I'm hardly psychic.

As for the "dopey bollocks" bit, no need to be rude. I knew about and accept Tom's point about extra game against Man U, but it's the cramped Christmas/New Year League fixtures for all clubs to which I was referring. I wouldn't like to think your great Carabao win over Man U was going to be used as an excuse for being tired on New Years day.

Eventually all football issues come out in the wash and are really unimportant except on a forum. It can't compare to personal tragedy and coping with it. I hope you and yours are managing.

 

Yeah we are all managing and I wasn’t saying it to make excuses or anything. It’s easier sometimes to say things on here to virtual beings rather than in reality.

Not using the Manure game as a excuse on its own just a depleted squad. I read on the championship banter page on Facebook that when we get injuries our charge will falter. IMO we are going through our seasons injury crises and after tomorrow I suspect Sir Steve will come to LJ’s rescue and fill our squad back up.
We’re lucky that these 4 months lay offs for some of the players is nearing the end and should be back soon to help.

Right back is where we need resources as we’ve got three or four players who can play that position but three of them are not natural there and we lose their presence in their normal position. So only having Pisano is a concern that I hope is addressed. He should be back for our game against your lot if we are lucky so that’s still a while without a natural right back.

Plus now we are entering the time when Flint and Bryan are going to be on other clubs wish list so got to prepared for any outstanding bids that will increase the coffers but IMO derail this season.

 

Must say I'm not totally au fait with your injury problems and other issues though I'm aware of some of it.

I'm not going to list our issues to bore you although I'm more or less up to speed with them.

Let's see what happens tomorrow.

Sorry Wiz, but "our lot" had everything to do with it - we're still part of the UK and the decision making process.

I expect there are plenty over there that would rather blow up the bridges than make them free. After all you're the land of plenty and us Welsh spongers are just tolerated as occasional visitors.

Yes the welsh assembly did push for this to happen. It’s increased the value of my house. It helps people living in Bristol with the high cost of property now able to move over here and travel. I don’t give a **** if some cock says who wants to live in Wales.

I've got no more personal wealth than many of you over there - the thead about savings/investments etc was about how people felt about utilising it.

The other aspects like having a bet on City games etc is a personal matter for me and those who are interested. If you don't like it then don't bother to read it - you obviously have because you must have been over to the Cardiff board to read about it - it's nowhere else.
